Jay V. Knighton II
Jay Knighton is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Personal planning and business planning go hand-in-hand, therefore, Jay prepares Wills and trusts, handles the firm’s probate matters, and works closely with families to create estate plans that address their concerns and fit their needs.
Clay is a highly focused and result–oriented business attorney who specializes in securities and corporate financing. Clay is dedicated to helping his clients, but he also appreciates his down time, whether that is enjoying a bottle of wine, traveling overseas, playing golf, or relaxing on the beach.
Maggie Griffin is an associate attorney focusing on advanced estate planning. Ms. Griffin graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in December of 2015 and joined our firm in August of 2017. Her passion for estate planning originated from losing her father during her first year of law school without any planning in place.
Thomas P. Stone, a native of Detroit, Michigan, founded Knighton & Stone, PLLC. Tom earned his Bachelor of Accountancy in 1981 from Western Michigan University. He received his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 1983.
Jordan O’Connor is an associate attorney who focuses on drafting and reviewing both estate and business transactions. Ms. O’Connor graduated from Syracuse University College of Law in May of 2019 and joined the law firm in September of 2019.
